We have two stump grinders; a smaller self-propelled machine about the size of a large self-propelled mower but heavier. It is 30 ins. wide and 7 ft long and weighs 290 kg. We can get this into most gardens very easily. It is also a very powerful machine that can grind out even large stumps.
Our other bigger machine is 35 ins. wide and 8 ft long (about the size of a ride-on mower). Weight 900kg or similar to a small car. So not good at steps or getting over walls and fences. We would need to know if the site slopes steeply or is very wet.
